Council Election Filing

CITY OF MILACA PUBLIC NOTICE
FILING AFFIDAVITS OF CANDIDACY

The first day of filing affidavits of candidacy for a statutory city general election is July 30, 2024. The last day for filing is August 13, 2024.  Candidates must complete an affidavit of candidacy application and pay the $2.00 filing fee at the time of filing. Affidavits of candidacy applications will be accepted at Milaca City Hall, 255 First Street East, Milaca Minnesota, during the regular business hours as Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Fridays until 1:30 p.m.  August 13^th city hall will be open until 5:00 p.m. to accept affidavits of candidacy applications.

Positions open for filing are as follows:

One Mayor (two year term)
Two Council Members (four year terms)
