Riverview Park

Riverview Park is located south of Milaca on Central Avenue South (Co Rd 36). Riverview Park is also located along the banks of the Rum River. There is one shelter with no electricity and no running water. There is one free standing grill. If you need to bring more grills, we highly recommend gas grills. If charcoal grills are used, please do not dump ashes in the park or the river. Snowmobiling is very famous on the Rum River so why not stop at Riverview Park and use the fire pit for roasting hotdogs or marshmallows. What a perfect resting point! (See Code of Ordinance #93.02 regarding Open Burning.) There is no playground equipment but the river provides easy access for tubing or canoeing and don't forget your fishing pole! The scenery is magnificent! What a great place for a Sunday picnic. Alcoholic beverages are allowed in city park shelters IF INDICATED ON THE PARK PERMIT. The park is closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (See City Ordinances #114.46 and #90.01 respectively.)
