Police Officer Job Posting

The City of Milaca Police Department is accepting applications to fill the position of (1) Full-Time Police Officer. Applicants must be P.O.S.T Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the date of hire. The current starting pay for 2024 is $27.60 per hour. Top pay is currently $35.58 per hour based on a six-year step schedule.

Benefits: The City of Milaca provides a competitive benefits package including 100% individual employee paid Health and dental premium. Family Health premiums are covered by the employer at 85% of the premium.  A generous HSA contribution of $3000 per year for individuals, and $6,000 per year for Family.  Long-Term Disability and Short-Term Disability coverage paid by the employer.  Life Insurance coverage of $20,000 paid by the employer. Initial equipment and uniforms will be provided by employer, starting in the second year of employment officers will receive a $1,000 uniform allowance annually per the union contract.
