Public Works

The public works department encompasses streets, water, wastewater, and the airport. The six member department maintains over 30 miles of streets and rights-of-way, as well as a water treatment facility, wastewater treatment ponds, and the Milaca Muncipal airport.

The city takes great pride in its snow removal operations. In less than 24 hours following the end of a snowfall, the city streets and alleys are free of snow. For residents to better understand the city's snow removal guidelines, the snow removal policy is provided below.
